Accept our invitation to the magical spaces of the castle’s Stables, where Austrian virtuosity meets Czech precision. Let yourself be carried away by the sounds of the cello, which, under Alexandra Kahrer’s hands, tells stories that are hundreds of years old yet still relevant today.

A chamber ensemble composed of outstanding musicians from the South Bohemian Philharmonic, who bring freshness and new energy to their interpretations of classical works. Their name, referring to the altitude, symbolizes their broad perspective and their striving to reach artistic heights.
The Story Behind the Concert
Did you know that Mozart composed his Divertimenti—which we now regard as masterpieces of the classical repertoire—when he was just 16 years old? Even then, he managed to capture both the joy of life and technical perfection in these works. In contrast, Bruch’s Kol Nidrei—a composition inspired by ancient Hebrew melodies—will resonate with notes of melancholy and hope within the castle’s halls.
