Chantal Poullain is a Czech/French theatre and film actress. She studied at the theatre academy in Geneva, then in England, acting in several French and Swiss films for television.
Beginning in the 1980s, she appeared on stage at Na Provázku Theatre together with Bolek Polívka in the legendary production The Clown and the Queen, which they have also performed on a number of stages abroad. The play moved to the Bolek Polívka Theatre in 1993. She performed in Romeo and Juliet, Antelope, and The Master and Margaret at Klicpera Theatre in Hradec Králové and in the plays Game of Marriage, Six Dance Classes in Six Weeks, At your own risk!, and Courtesan at Ungelt Theatre. She has been working with the Bolek Polívka Theatre since 2017 (Six Dance Classes in Six Weeks, Rebels).
In 1993, Chantal Poullain founded the Archa Foundation, which is a symbol of help and rescue for children in children's hospitals and medical institutions, providing the repair and reconstruction of buildings and in doing so helping children heal faster in a pleasant environment.
