Trio Bohémo was formed in 2019. All its members come from the Czech Republic, but they only met during their studies in Budapest, and the decision to start a piano trio was not far away. Soon after, they won second prize at the Gianni Bergamo Award in Lugano, Switzerland, and based on this competitive success, they were invited to collaborate with the Italian company Le Dimore del Quartetto. Other awards followed in Italy, Great Britain, Lithuania, Germany and several times in Austria, as well as in Australia. The trio won a domestic award in 2023 by awarding the Prize of the Czech Society for Chamber Music.
In the 2022/2023 season, Trio Bohémo participated in the courses of the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme, which was founded by Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears in 1972 for young professionals. Last season, the trio debuted at the Vienna Music Association and performed at the international festivals Prague Spring, Gent Festival van Vlaanderen (Belgium), Schwarzwald Musikfestival (Germany) and Laggo Maggiore Musica (Italy). At the moment, they are waiting for their debut in London's Wigmore Hall, in Stoller Hall in Manchester, among others, they will perform at the Shaldon Festival (England), at concerts in Germany, Austria, Italy, etc.
Selected evenings are presented by Mrs. P. Kuchtová.
